Principal Customer System Measurement Engineer
Role Summary
Lead technical engagements between Analog Devices' ATE product development teams and strategic ATE customers in Germany, focusing on measurement challenges, evaluation methods, and adoption of ADI technologies.
Work embedded in the ATE Product Development Measurement organisation to translate customer measurement requirements into evaluation methodologies, diagnostic solutions, and product influence.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include customer-facing measurement leadership, system evaluation, and internal knowledge transfer.
- Act as primary technical interface for assigned strategic ATE customers; build trust with customer architecture, system, and evaluation teams.
- Travel frequently and be able to co-locate with customers for short or extended periods to support evaluations and problem resolution.
- Develop and validate evaluation and diagnostic solutions, test fixtures, measurement procedures, and reference systems to support customer adoption and product development.
- Provide measurement leadership across areas such as pin electronics, device power supplies, precision source/parametric measure units, and high-speed digital test.
- Support characterization, correlation, and system-level performance measurements; assist product development and validation activities.
- Deliver technical training and workshops; monitor platform trends and provide input to influence ADI product and measurement strategy.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional background, plus desirable skills that improve fit.
- Must-have: 12+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience in measurement development, ATE architecture, customer engagements, or product diagnostics and analysis.
- Must-have: Strong familiarity with measurement instrumentation, PCB development, and system-level debugging; ability to read schematics and layouts and develop measurement plans.
- Must-have: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to engage effectively across customer and internal development organisations.
- Must-have: Willingness to travel frequently and co-locate at customer sites as required (posting describes significant on-site presence).
- Nice-to-have: Experience with precision analog and mixed-signal circuits and precision measurement techniques.

Education Requirements
BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (for example Electronics Engineering or System Engineering), or equivalent practical experience.
