Principal Customer Integration Engineer, Product & Process Engineering (HBM)

This role sits in the Customer Engineering Technical Leadership function within HIG PSE and focuses on technical engagement across product development, system architecture, front-end and back-end process, package failure analysis, qualification, and test. Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include engaging with customers and internal teams to integrate product and process requirements and resolve technical issues.

  • Apply deep technical knowledge across product engineering, system engineering, build, front-end/back-end process, PFA, qualification, or test.
  • Support integration of customer requirements into internal design and manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in technical reviews, debug sessions, and failure analysis activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams across build, product engineering, and manufacturing to resolve technical challenges.
  • Assist in yield improvement and qualification efforts tied to customer programs.
  • Engage directly in technical discussions with customers alongside integration and technical leads.

  • Nice-to-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to new technical domains.
  • Nice-to-have: Clear technical communication and documentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.

Education Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree, or equivalent practical experience, in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
