Principal ASIC Engineer (Reliability & Hardware Validation)
Lead reliability engineering and hardware design validation for next-generation semiconductor and networking products. This role sits on the Cisco Hardware Engineering Team and focuses on product/process qualification, high-power and high-speed board validation, and cross-discipline design-for-reliability activities.
Hybrid role based in San Jose, CA, working with eCAD, FPGA, power, mechanical, signal integrity and manufacturing teams to ensure product integrity and compliance with industry reliability standards.
Senior β 10+ years of professional experience in semiconductor reliability and/or high-speed hardware design.
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing reliability qualifications and leading hardware validation efforts for high-power networking products.
