Role Summary

Customer-facing technical role in the India Field Organization for the Digital and Signoff Group. Partner with semiconductor customers to develop methodologies and implement advanced digital designs from RTL to GDSII.

Influence product direction by providing field feedback, collaborate with sales on account strategy, and mentor junior engineers across global teams.

Experience Level

Senior (Principal). The posting requests approximately 8+ years of experience in digital implementation.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include driving implementation quality, solving complex customer problems, and influencing both customers and internal product teams.

• Drive RTL-to-GDSII metrics and delivery on complex designs.
• Lead methodology and solution-focused technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Work with sales to define account strategy and technical campaigns.
• Promote adoption of new tooling and methodologies across customers.
• Develop tool-based or scripted solutions to customer problems; deploy ML-based productivity/PPA improvements.
• Isolate complex failures to actionable tool/R&D issues.
• Collaborate with worldwide AE teams and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Core technical and behavioral requirements for successful performance in this role.

• 8+ years experience in Digital Implementation flow on advanced process nodes.
• Deep expertise in at least one domain: Synthesis, Place & Route (PnR), or Static Timing Analysis (STA).
• Strong debugging skills and ability to prioritize critical issues.
• Experience with flow development; knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.
• Proven ability to work across functions and geographies and to build close customer relationships.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Creative problem-solving mindset and commitment to technical integrity.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering: BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Electrical or Electronics. (Degree requirements stated in the source.)
