Principal Application Engineer
Role Summary
The Principal Application Engineer will work with customers to build and deploy thermal simulation flows for 2.5D/3D ICs, packages, PCBs and electronic products. This role combines onsite customer support, product demonstrations, training, and collaboration with R&D to improve tool functionality and performance.

Experience Level
Senior - requires 3+ years of related experience in thermal simulation/design and electronic cooling.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop and deploy thermal simulation flows for 2.5D/3D-IC, package, PCB, and electronic products in customer environments.
- Provide onsite technical support, product demonstrations, training, and workshops for customers.
- Collect customer feedback on application scenarios and difficult thermal problems; communicate requirements to R&D to improve tools.
- Build technical credibility and professional relationships with customers to ensure quality service and project delivery.

- Must-have: Familiarity with thermal simulation tools and electronic cooling concepts.
- Must-have: Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
- Must-have: Strong customer-oriented mindset, problem-solving ability, and ability to work in teams; self-driven and able to learn independently.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with mechanical simulation tools.
- Nice-to-have: Basic scripting skills (Python) for simulation automation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Thermal Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. (No explicit equivalent-experience statement provided.)
