Principal Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Lead global technical authority for PMIC and mixed-signal product lines, owning architecture and technical direction across the full development lifecycle from customer requirements through silicon verification and production readiness.

Collaborate with multicultural teams, influence product roadmaps, mentor engineers, and drive engineering methodology and process improvements.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum 12 years of experience; posting specifies 12–15 years with recent technical project lead experience in the last four years.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include technical leadership, architecture, verification planning, and customer collaboration.

• Lead full development lifecycle of analog and mixed-signal blocks and top-level PMIC products from specification through design, simulation, and silicon verification.
• Serve as a global technical authority and mentor for the design team; provide architectural recommendations and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with customers to define system requirements and develop solutions that meet performance, area, and power constraints.
• Oversee verification planning, DFT strategy, and lab evaluation in partnership with applications and test engineering to ensure production readiness.
• Identify and implement company-wide improvements in engineering methodologies, policies, and strategic initiatives.
• Support roadmap planning and align technical direction with market trends and evolving CMOS process technologies.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Minimum 12 to 15 years' experience in power management; proven record as a technical project lead on complex ICs within the last four years.
• In-depth knowledge of CMOS power management circuits and current market trends.
• Proven ability to drive engineering initiatives and deliver high-quality results under tight schedules.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for conveying complex technical concepts to multicultural teams and external customers.
• Ability to work independently as a technical lead while fostering a collaborative, mentoring environment.
• High cross-cultural sensitivity and flexibility to undertake occasional international travel on short notice.

Education Requirements

Degree-level qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline (specific degree level not specified).
