Job Title

Principal Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Join the Power Delivery R&D team to design analog technology for advanced mixed-signal power ICs. You will own analog block development from specification through schematic design, simulation, layout guidance, and silicon characterization, collaborating with architects, digital, layout, verification and validation engineers.

Experience Level

Senior (Principal level). Years of experience not specified; the title implies senior/principal responsibilities (typically 7+ years).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design and realize analog blocks from specification to silicon.
  • Perform schematic design, circuit simulation, corner analysis, and post-layout verification.
  • Provide layout guidance and collaborate with layout engineers to optimize performance and robustness.
  • Support mixed-signal integration and AMS verification activities.
  • Characterize silicon and resolve design-to-silicon issues.
  • Contribute to reusable analog IP and improve analog design methodologies.
  • Work cross-functionally with architects, digital designers, verification and validation teams.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred skills (education listed separately below):

  • Must-have: Strong experience in analog IC design; expertise in analog simulation and layout-aware design; demonstrable ability to take designs from concept to released product; strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience in power management, power conversion, or mixed-signal ICs.

Education Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
