Role Summary
Lead product management for AI and LLM-driven use models within the Synopsys ICV product line, focused on established process nodes and 3D/chiplet designs. Work across product management, R&D, and technical sales to prototype, validate, and integrate AI techniques into verification workflows and product roadmaps.
Experience Level
Senior — requires substantial experience in EDA/semiconductor product management and AI/LLM solution development. Typical guidance: 10+ years in EDA/semiconductor product management and 5+ years working with AI/LLM techniques.
Responsibilities
The role combines strategic product definition, prototyping, cross-functional coordination, and customer engagement to deliver AI-enabled verification capabilities.
- Conceptualize, prototype, and validate AI/LLM use models for Synopsys ICV across established and advanced node workflows.
- Define product requirements and integrate validated AI techniques into ICV product roadmaps and QA processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, R&D, and technical sales to align AI initiatives with go-to-market and customer needs.
- Train and enable technical sales on AI-enabled offerings and identify customer-specific funded customization opportunities.
- Present AI-driven value propositions to customers and industry stakeholders to strengthen market positioning.
Requirements
Must-have technical and professional qualifications; desirable items noted separately.
- 10+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management experience.
- 5+ years developing solutions that include AI and large language model (LLM) techniques.
- Deep understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem, including Foundry relationships, EDA PDK development, DRC functions, and rules.
- Proven ability to distinguish customer-specific requirements from general market needs and to work with senior product management to prioritize accordingly.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to influence across engineering, sales, and product teams.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects and deliver results under time pressure.
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Device Physics required. PhD or MBA in a relevant field is desired.
