PRD to PDK AI Solution Architect - Scalable Solutions
Role Summary
Architect end-to-end AI and GenAI solutions to enable PRD-to-PDK semiconductor workflows. Serve as the domain liaison between semiconductor engineers and AI/solution developers, define solution pipelines, prioritize work, and drive stakeholder adoption and delivery.
Experience Level
Senior β approximately 15 years of relevant industry experience is expected.
Responsibilities
Lead technical design and delivery of AI-enabled workflows from requirements through deployment and adoption.
- Act as domain expert bridging semiconductor process/device engineers and AI solution developers.
- Engage PRD, TD, Device, Ground Rule, Testchip, Labs, PDK and Device Modelling teams to identify opportunities and architect solution pipelines.
- Identify required data sources, enable API access to databases, and drive improvements to make source materials AI-ready.
- Create or assemble test cases and datasets for solution development and validation.
- Design UI mockups and write requirements for solution developers.
- Ensure instrumentation and data collection to monitor usage and enable continuous improvement.
- Track development and deployment progress, resolve domain knowledge or data roadblocks, and report outcomes against OKRs.
- Develop training materials, drive solution adoption, and collect user feedback for iteration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ecosystem partners; follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

- Hands-on experience with PDK development and semiconductor design flows.
- Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary semiconductor projects and digitization initiatives.
- Ability to translate complex multi-modal technical data into transformational AI solutions and to present business and productivity impact to leadership.
- Data-savvy: able to specify data collection, validation, and usage tracking.
- Strong planning, prioritization, project management, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication in English; ability to create training and adoption materials.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving cross-team collaboration.
Education Requirements
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field. The role expects ~15 years of industry experience.
