PRD to PDK AI Solution Architect - Scalable Solutions

Role Summary

Architect and deliver end-to-end AI/GenAI solutions that enable PRD-to-PDK semiconductor workflows. The role sits between semiconductor domain engineering and AI solution development teams and drives solution definition, data readiness, milestones, and adoption.

Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities across PRD, device, TCAD, PDK and test flows and translate domain requirements into production AI pipelines and UIs.

Responsibilities

Design, coordinate and drive AI solutions that convert product requirements to PDK deliverables and production-ready tools.

• Act as the domain expert and liaison between semiconductor engineers and AI/solution developers.
• Architect end-to-end GenAI/AI pipelines for PRD-to-PDK workflows, defining milestones and deliverables.
• Gather and prioritize stakeholder requirements; present expected productivity gains and adoption plans to leadership.
• Identify data sources, enable API access, and influence conversion of unstructured artifacts (PPT, DOC, PDF, XLS) to AI-ready formats.
• Create or assemble test cases and datasets required for solution development and validation.
• Develop UI mockups and requirement documents for solution implementation by development teams.
• Ensure telemetry and data collection are embedded to track usage and enable continuous model improvements.
• Track development and deployment progress; remove domain and data roadblocks to delivery.
• Develop training materials, adoption strategies, OKRs and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across TD, Device, Testchip, Labs, PDK, Device Modelling, CAD/methodology and ecosystem partners.

Requirements

Core technical skills and leadership capabilities required to deliver complex, cross-disciplinary semiconductor AI solutions.

• Approximately 15+ years of industry experience driving technical programs in semiconductors or closely related fields.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor process integration, device engineering, TCAD and hardware data.
• Proven experience with PDK and design flow development and deployment.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary semiconductor projects and digitization efforts.
• Ability to define solution pipelines, prioritize work, and manage milestones and resources.
• Data-savvy: experience specifying data schemas, APIs, and workflows for ML/AI consumption.
• Experience producing UI mockups and clear requirements for implementation teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills; fluency in English (written and verbal).

Education Requirements

Masters degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Engineering or a related technical field; the posting specifies ~15 years of experience combined with a Master's or PhD. Certifications or proven experience in AI/ML, GenAI, RAG, reinforcement learning, transformer pipelines and database architecture are listed as preferred.
