Role Summary
Join the AMD Client and Graphics Business Unit to lead post-silicon power management feature development for client CPUs/APUs. The role focuses on enablement, validation, and debug of Windows Modern Standby (S0i3) system features on mobile and desktop platforms.

Responsibilities
The engineer will lead technical execution and cross-functional coordination to deliver S0i3 production solutions.
- Lead S0i3 power management enablement and validation strategies from pre-silicon through customer adoption across architecture, silicon design, firmware, validation, and debug teams.
- Drive S0i3 feature enablement and validation in the post-silicon lab environment.
- Debug and resolve S0i3 system power management issues spanning silicon, firmware/BIOS, and platform teams.
- Develop and lead process and test-plan improvements to increase quality and efficiency of power management validation.
- Coach and mentor junior engineering staff.

- Deep, hands-on expertise with Windows Modern Standby (S0i3) system operation and power management across silicon, platform design, and firmware/software interactions.
- Proven technical debug skills involving system architecture, firmware/BIOS, and silicon interactions.
- Experience planning and executing post-silicon feature enablement, validation, and production release activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive issues to resolution.
- Self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred.
