Role Summary

Join the Post-Silicon Validation team to validate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power-management ICs before production release. The role works within a cross-functional engineering organization to design test setups, automate measurements, and diagnose silicon and system-level issues.

Experience Level

Entry-level — approximately 2 years of work-related experience is expected.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities focus on silicon evaluation, test automation, and cross-team collaboration.

• Validate ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications at device, board, and system levels.
• Design and prepare advanced laboratory test setups and custom evaluation PCBs and supporting hardware.
• Develop measurement and automation scripts (Python) and integrate lab instrumentation for data acquisition.
• Perform statistical analysis, correlate results, and prepare technical reports and silicon evaluation summaries.
• Identify, document, and track silicon and application issues; debug with Design, Firmware, Product Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Propose and implement improvements to validation coverage, automation, and execution efficiency.

Requirements

Required skills and attributes; separates must-have and nice-to-have items.

• Must-have: ~2 years experience in lab-based silicon validation or equivalent; proficiency in Python for lab automation; board-level analog and digital circuit design skills for PCB schematic creation; strong analytical and debugging ability; effective verbal and written English; ability to work in international cross-functional teams.
• Must-have: Experience with lab automation and measurement instrumentation; ability to prepare advanced test setups and execute repeatable measurements.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronics; experience with statistical data analysis and test automation frameworks.
• Other: Self-motivated, proactive, goals-oriented, and flexible to undertake occasional international travel.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline. The posting expects about 2 years of work-related experience in validation or similar lab roles.
