Responsibilities

• Run power tests on RTL designs and verify test behavior matches design intent.
• Perform power profiling using tools such as PPRTL or PTPX to identify power-intensive areas and optimization opportunities.
• Correlate hardware events and telemetry with power profiles to explain consumption patterns.
• Develop Python and/or TCL scripts for automation, data extraction, and processing of large hardware design datasets.
• Analyze profiling data, generate reports, and present findings with recommendations for power reduction.
• Work with architects and designers to build runtime power models, supporting ML-based modeling efforts.
