Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define, develop and execute functional validation methodologies for integrated SoCs focusing on IP integration and system-level interactions.
- Perform silicon debug to identify root causes and resolve functional and triage failures.
- Test interactions between SoC features using validation infrastructure and lab tools.
- Develop post-silicon validation infrastructure: performance monitors, behavioral checkers, coverage and test environments.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, board, platform and manufacturing teams to refine validation strategies.
- Produce SoC validation reports and review design changes for validation impact.
- Create or modify firmware, microcode and OS builds to exercise IP interactions and improve coverage.
- Work across simulation, emulation, FPGA and lab setups throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Hands-on post-silicon validation experience using FPGA, emulation and prototyping tools.
- Technical knowledge in domains such as Graphics, Display, PCIe, Memory, Security, Power Management, SoC interfaces, and HW/SW integration.
- Experience with system-level testing, hardware debugging and lab equipment.
- Ability to develop validation infrastructure and automation.
