Post Silicon HSIO Validation Manager

Role Summary

The Post Silicon HSIO Validation Manager is a management role within AMD's datacenter CPU post silicon validation team, focusing on high-speed input/output technologies such as Compute Express Link (CXL) and PCI Express. This individual will contribute significantly to the team’s success by enhancing AMD’s capabilities in delivering top-tier technologies.

Experience Level

This position requires a senior-level candidate with a strong background in engineering and management, particularly within the semiconductor industry. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 9 years of experience with a Bachelors's degree or at least 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage a team focused on the validation of CXL, PCIe, and other high-speed I/O features.
• Engage in resource prioritization and task planning to support project goals.
• Develop and execute test plans while establishing pertinent validation requirements.
• Drive problem resolution and assist in debugging complex issues on the team.
• Collaborate globally to refine post-silicon validation methodologies to boost efficiency and product quality.
• Lead and mentor engineers, contractors, and interns, fostering career development.

Requirements

• Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
• Experience in automation and validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with power and performance analysis related to silicon verification/validation.
• Previous management experience within a technical team.
• Knowledge of CXL or associated high-speed I/O domains.

Education Requirements

BSEE/CSE/CS with 9+ years of experience or MSEE/CSE/CS with 7+ years of experience.
