Role Summary

Perform functional and system validation in the lab for mixed-signal IP to verify that designs meet specifications and quality targets. Work within a validation team to develop test environments, execute validation plans, reproduce issues, and support root-cause analysis with firmware, system, and analog design teams.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include validating mixed-signal IP in lab environments and supporting cross-functional debugging.

• Perform functional and system-level validation of mixed-signal IP in a lab setting.
• Develop and maintain IP validation environments to achieve coverage against microarchitecture specifications.
• Execute validation plans, define test runs, and develop test recipes.
• Replicate issues and perform root-cause analysis in collaboration with firmware, system, and analog design teams.
• Document test results, reproduce procedures, and report findings to engineering teams.

• Must-have: Deep knowledge of digital circuits and timing.
• Must-have: Strong problem-solving skills, fast learner, and ability to work in a team.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with firmware interaction, analog design concepts, lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), or test automation scripting.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience with IP validation or hardware bring-up.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering program (or equivalent). The role is a student/intern position; enrollment as an electronic/electrical engineering student was specified.
