Junior Mixed Signal Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join a Catania-based engineering team developing microcontrollers and mixed-signal IP for edge/MCU products. The role focuses on verification of analog and mixed-signal blocks within SoC designs, working with designers and systems engineers to validate functionality and robustness.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Junior. Candidates with around 6+ months practical experience in analog mixed-signal design or verification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with global design teams to verify complex SoCs and analog/mixed-signal IP.
• Develop SystemVerilog Real Number and Verilog-AMS/Verilog-A models for analog blocks.
• Run simulations, maintain testbenches, and track verification coverage against plans.
• Identify and report design bugs and robustness issues in analog/mixed-signal IPs.
• Perform top-level analysis and verification of test modes and DFT strategies for analog blocks.

Requirements

Minimum skills and attributes for the role.

• Must-have: Strong communication and teamwork skills; proficiency in English (read, spoken, written).
• Must-have: Basic understanding of analog and mixed-signal fundamentals.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS and/or Verilog-A.
• Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience (approximately 6+ months) in analog/mixed-signal design or verification.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred. English language proficiency required. (No certification or equivalent-experience language specified.)
