Role Summary
Technical lead and principal architect responsible for defining system architecture, product strategy, and roadmaps for GlobalFoundries' Analog ASSP product families. The role leads cross-functional engineering teams across design, validation, product engineering, manufacturing and applications to deliver differentiated semiconductor solutions.

Responsibilities
Lead architecture and product strategy for analog ASSP solutions and coordinate cross-functional execution.
- Define and drive long-term product and technology roadmaps for Analog ASSP solutions.
- Lead system architecture development for PMICs, motor drivers, protection and battery management.
- Make system-level tradeoffs across performance, power, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and functional safety.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across design, validation, product engineering, manufacturing, and applications.
- Drive product differentiation through innovation, competitive benchmarking, and technology assessment.
- Serve as senior technical interface to strategic customers and partners; present at executive level.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across sites and organizations.
Requirements
Core technical and leadership qualifications required to perform the role.
Must-have:
- Expert knowledge of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor systems.
- Strong background in power management, sensing, signal conditioning, and data conversion.
- Experience developing technology roadmaps and defining strategic products.
- Proven technical leadership of complex cross-functional programs.
- Customer-facing architecture leadership with strong executive-level communication skills.
- Track record of driving business impact through technical innovation and IP generation.
- Fluent in English.
Nice-to-have:
- German language proficiency preferred.
Education Requirements
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field (as stated in the posting).
