PM Validation - Student Position

Role Summary

Front-end validation internship on the PM Validation team within Intel's Core Engineering Group. The team validates power-management flows and interfaces between Core, SoC and firmware for next-generation CORE products.

The intern will learn validation methodologies and help plan and execute validation strategies, implement test environments for RTL, debug issues, and collaborate with architects and RTL/SoC teams to drive features to tape-in quality.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Student internship (part-time).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of the intern role include learning and executing HW validation activities under supervision.

  • Learn architectural specifications for new features and map them to validation plans.
  • Plan and implement validation strategies for PM features and HW blocks.
  • Define and develop test environments for RTL implementations.
  • Debug failing cases, analyze root causes, and follow issues to resolution.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, CLV and SoC teams to reach tape-in quality.
  • Develop familiarity with Intel Architecture and validation tools/methodologies.

Requirements

Key logistical requirements and preferred technical skills.

  • Must-have: Availability for part-time, on-site work at the Petah-Tikva campus (Shift 1).
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages.
  • Nice-to-have: Basic familiarity with GenAI tools.

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled B.Sc. student in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with approximately 3–4 semesters remaining until graduation.
