Physical Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Plan, build, and execute redistribution layer (RDL) routing and the connection of signal, power and ground to die bumps for large-scale ASICs. Collaborate with global hard IP, package, and physical design teams to integrate RDL into modern processor designs.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Implement RDL routing for signal, power, and ground across RDL layers.
- Plan and execute connection of signal/PG nets to die bumps in RDL layers.
- Work with global hard IP, package, and physical design teams to integrate RDL into ASIC projects.
- Verify and troubleshoot RDL implementation for performance, signal integrity, and manufacturability.
- Coordinate across sites and time zones and communicate technical status to cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications.
- Must-have: Practical experience and solid knowledge of RDL implementation and RDL routing.
- Must-have: Ability to utilize AI tools to improve engineering efficiency.
- Must-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive team player with effective communication across sites/time zones.
- Preferred: Familiarity with general IC design flow, digital physical design flow, and common EDA tools (Synopsys, Mentor).
- Preferred: Knowledge of SoC ESD protection and ESD per-pin/perc checks.
- Preferred: Experience or knowledge of 3DIC packaging technologies.
- Preferred: Background with foundry PDKs or analog layout design.
- Preferred: Good spoken and written English.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
