Role Summary
Design and verify physical layouts for chips at cell, block, and full-chip levels as part of Intel's technology development organization. Contribute to floorplanning, placement, routing, verification, and full-chip assembly to deliver high-performance silicon.
Position is based in Bangalore with eligibility for a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include layout creation, verification, and project execution for chip development.
- Create and verify cell and block-level semi-custom layouts, including floorplans, abstract view generation, and schematic-to-layout verification.
- Conduct reliability verification, debug processes, and parasitic extraction to ensure design integrity.
- Utilize auto-place-and-route algorithms, custom polygon editing, and floorplanning techniques for chip assembly.
- Execute full-chip assembly, packaging, and verification processes to meet timelines and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot complex design issues and implement corrective solutions.
- Schedule, staff, and execute chip development projects while following established methodologies and flows.
