Responsibilities
Core responsibilities for this role include:
- Define verification plans and coverage goals for peripheral IP and subsystems.
- Develop coverage-driven, constrained-random verification environments and UVM testbenches (agents, monitors, checkers).
- Integrate and validate C-based reference models inside testbenches for functional comparison.
- Verify standard protocols (PCIe, CXL, USB, Ethernet) at unit and IP levels.
- Create and maintain test infrastructure and automation scripts to support regression and debug.
- Work with cross-functional teams (design, firmware, validation) to debug silicon bring-up issues and close coverage holes.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and test planning.
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in unit and IP level verification (posting highlights 9+ years).
- Strong SystemVerilog and UVM expertise; experienced with coverage-driven, constrained-random verification methodologies.
