PDE MCT Governance Senior Engineer
Role Summary
Lead site and network-level manufacturing governance programs to improve frontline stability, equipment health, and product transfer readiness across assembly & test (A&T) lines. Partner with Site Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and global subject-matter experts to define governance, deploy automation and analytics, and close cross-functional issues.
Experience Level
Senior - minimum 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing, PDE, quality, equipment, or process engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Operate as the governance lead for Frontline Stability, FEAT, site-to-site transfers, and governance/reporting systems.
- Lead rollout and maintenance of Frontline Stability Program initiatives across HBM and non-HBM manufacturing lines.
- Manage governance frameworks including FEAT, Equipment Function Matching (EFM), and Change Event Standardization and Governance (CESG).
- Define and deploy automatic equipment-trigger strategies using alarms, FDC, SPC, hotspot detection and Sub-Lot Soft Bin Limits (SBL).
- Develop FEAT dashboards and real-time monitoring solutions; apply AI to analyze chronic equipment triggers and prioritize corrective actions.
- Lead site-to-site product transfer readiness using 5M1E methodology; perform gap assessments, validations, risk mitigation and post-transfer monitoring.
- Create and maintain governance dashboards, benchmark scorecards and executive reports; lead cross-functional governance reviews and issue resolution.
- Establish standardized workflows, procedures and best-known methods (BKMs) and drive continuous improvement projects to raise yield, utilization and quality.
Requirements
Required technical experience and skills for immediate contribution. Preferred skills follow as nice-to-have items.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, PDE, quality, equipment, or process engineering.
- Strong understanding of Assembly & Test manufacturing processes.
- Experience in manufacturing transfer, qualification, validation, or Copy Exact methodologies.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills using manufacturing data.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional and global initiatives and drive issue closure.
- Effective communication, facilitation, and collaborator-management skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with HBM, DRAM, SSD, module or backend semiconductor manufacturing.
- Knowledge of equipment engineering, SPC, FDC, yield analysis, OCAP, equipment matching and change governance.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, ORION or similar analytics/workflow platforms.
- Familiarity using AI tools for monitoring, reporting and project management.
- Experience with 5M1E, FMEA, risk assessment and Manufacturing Excellence frameworks.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical field.
