PCIe Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Work on PCIe verification for high-performance SoC/ASIC projects in the verification team based in Bangalore. Build and maintain UVM-based testbenches, define verification strategies, and validate PCIe/PIPE interfaces against specifications.
Collaborate with design and architecture teams to identify and resolve protocol and implementation issues, and to drive coverage closure.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 12+ years of verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain UVM-based verification environments and testbenches for PCIe and related interfaces.
- Create verification plans, testcases, and coverage models; execute and debug tests.
- Perform design specification reviews and translate requirements into verification scenarios.
- Manage functional and code coverage; analyze results and drive closure.
- Collaborate with design and architecture teams to investigate and resolve silicon/implementation issues.
- Automate verification flows and develop scripts/tools to improve productivity.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 12+ years of semiconductor verification experience at a senior level.
- Expertise in UVM methodology and testbench development.
- Deep knowledge of PCIe Gen5/6/7 and PIPE protocols.
- Familiarity with AMBA protocols: AXI, AHB, APB.
- Experience creating testplans, verification architectures, and verification scenarios.
- Experience with functional and code coverage management and closure.
Nice to have:
- Scripting skills for automation (Python, Tcl, Perl, or similar).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, VLSI Engineering, or a closely related technical field (as specified in the source posting).
