Role Summary

Join the verification team to develop UVM-based testbenches and verify high-performance PCIe IP. The role focuses on testplan and testbench architecture, functional and code coverage, and resolving verification challenges for advanced PCIe implementations.

Experience Level

Senior — 12+ years of verification experience (PCIe/VLSI domain).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include designing verification environments, executing verification plans, and ensuring coverage completeness.

• Develop and maintain UVM-based verification testbenches and components.
• Create and execute verification plans and test scenarios for PCIe IP.
• Review design specifications and translate requirements into verification tasks.
• Define and manage functional and code coverage metrics; close coverage holes.
• Debug complex functional issues and coordinate with design teams to resolve silicon/RTL issues.
• Architect scalable testbench solutions for high-performance designs.
• Collaborate on regression frameworks and automation to improve verification throughput.

• Must-have: 12+ years of experience in verification; strong UVM/testbench development expertise.
• Must-have: Deep domain experience with PCIe Gen5/Gen6/Gen7 and PIPE protocols.
• Must-have: Experience creating testplans, testbench architectures, and verification scenarios.
• Must-have: Proven experience managing functional and code coverage.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI/AHB/APB).
• Preferred: Scripting experience for testbench automation and infrastructure (Python, Perl, Tcl, or similar).
• Preferred: Experience with high-performance design verification and debugging at system speed.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or VLSI Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/M.S.) as stated in the source.
