PCIe IP Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Work on verification of PCI Express controller IP and sub-systems for NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs. The role focuses on IP- and subsystem-level functional verification, developing verification infrastructure, and collaborating with architects, RTL designers, and silicon verification teams.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification for PCIe controllers at the IP and sub-system level.
- Define verification scope and develop test plans for IP and sub-system verification.
- Develop reusable BFMs, monitors, checkers and scoreboards; implement coverage-driven tests.
- Build and maintain verification infrastructure and golden models.
- Implement constrained-random tests and functional coverage collection.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre-/post-silicon teams to close verification gaps.
- Debug functional failures using simulation and industry-standard debug tools.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience. Nice-to-have items are listed separately.
- 2+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience at Unit, Sub-system, or SoC level.
- Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Experience verifying IP or interconnect protocols (PCIe, USB, SATA, or similar).
- Experience with constrained-random verification and functional coverage methodologies.
- Familiarity with DV methodologies such as UVM or VMM and industry-standard simulators and debug tools.
Nice-to-have:
- Deep knowledge of PCIe protocol (Gen3 and above) and system-level PCIe/CXL architecture.
- Scripting or software skills (Perl, Python, or similar) to build infrastructure and debug tests.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Education Requirements
