Partner Lab Support Engineer

Role Summary

Serve as Micron's primary onsite engineering interface for enabler and customer validation and qualification activities at Penang facilities. Lead sample bring‑up, technical debug, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure customer requirements and test specifications are met.

Work with engineering, planning, and marketing teams to communicate risks, produce validation reports, and improve qualification processes.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience in DRAM product, design, validation, or related engineering areas.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include technical coordination, validation, and reporting.

• Act as primary onsite engineering contact for enabler and customer validation and qualification engagements.
• Align Micron test strategies and plans with customer expectations.
• Support enabler and customer sample bring‑up and verify delivered solutions meet defined requirements.
• Lead technical debug and root cause analysis; provide clear, timely communication to stakeholders and customers.
• Create and maintain customer validation reports and shared documentation repositories.
• Identify and drive improvements to customer validation and qualification processes.
• Develop and deliver technical content for customer‑facing and internal presentations.
• Coordinate and facilitate technical meetings, status updates, issue reviews, and resolution discussions.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills.

• 5+ years experience in DRAM product, design, validation, or related engineering areas.
• Strong time management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with and driving multi‑functional teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Engineering (BSCE) or equivalent practical experience.
