Job Title

Partner Lab Support Engineer

Role Summary

Primary onsite engineering interface for enabler and customer validation and qualification engagements at Micron's Penang site. Responsible for sample bring-up, aligning test strategies with customer expectations, leading technical debug and root cause analysis, and producing validation reports and documentation.

Works cross-functionally with development, validation, planning, and marketing teams to communicate risks, facilitate technical meetings, and drive improvements to customer validation and qualification processes.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” requires 5+ years of experience in DRAM product, design, validation, or related engineering areas.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary onsite engineering contact for enabler and customer validation and qualification engagements.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships to ensure test and specification requirements are understood and met.
  • Align Micron test strategies and plans with joint validation expectations from enablers and customers.
  • Proactively identify and drive improvements to customer validation and qualification processes.
  • Support enabler and customer sample bring-up and verify delivered solutions meet requirements.
  • Lead technical debug and root cause analysis efforts and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain customer validation reports and shared documentation repositories.
  • Develop and deliver technical content for customer-facing and internal presentations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate technical meetings, status updates, issue reviews, and resolution discussions.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in DRAM product, design, validation, or related engineering domains.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with and drive cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Direct experience interfacing with external customers and enablers on validation or qualification activities.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCE), or equivalent degree or equivalent practical experience.
