Package Design Electrical Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for electrical aspects of IC package design including schedule management, cross-functional coordination, electrical performance analysis (signal integrity and power delivery), and delivery of design reports and customer sign-offs.
Position supports package design engineering activities and drives technical and process improvements to reduce cost, schedule and improve quality.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage overall electrical package design activities, schedules and key milestones; coordinate with stakeholders to ensure electrical performance requirements are met.
- Gather electrical input requirements from customers and internal teams.
- Perform electrical analyses including signal integrity and power delivery analysis.
- Recommend package design parameter changes to meet electrical specifications.
- Produce electrical design reports and obtain customer sign-offs.
- Drive technical improvements and efficiencies that improve cost, schedule, efficiency, or quality.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and strengths:
- Strong knowledge of electrical field theory and electronic fundamentals.
- Experience with electrical analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS / Q3D / SIwave, Cadence Sigrity, or equivalents.
- Experience with package/board CAD layout tools such as Cadence Allegro, Mentor Expedition, or equivalents.
- Experience performing signal integrity and power delivery analysis.
- Project management and multitasking skills; ability to meet milestones.
- Strong technical problem solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to work in teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
