Role Summary

Provide pre- and post-sales field application engineering for optical module hardware, focusing on design-in, bring-up, validation, and debug across PAM4 DSP, TIA/Driver, and AEC/ACC domains. Work directly with customers from proposal through production to close design wins and accelerate time-to-quality.

Deliver hands-on lab support, SI/PI guidance, and coordination with internal teams (marketing, sales, quality) to resolve complex system issues and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include technical customer engagement, debugging, and design guidance.

• Align customer design requirements with Marvell technology and support proposal development.
• Identify and pursue design-in opportunities and close design wins.
• Guide customers through design, bring-up, validation, and system integration.
• Perform SI/PI reviews (topology, vias, return paths, decoupling strategy, S-parameters) and recommend fixes.
• Coordinate simulations and correlate lab measurements with models.
• Provide onsite support for hardware/software debugging and real-time problem resolution during bring-up.
• Train customers and distributor FAEs on hardware bring-up and validation procedures.
