Role Summary

Support non-volatile memory (NVM) testing and characterization for product groups, focusing on yield improvement, test-time reduction, failure investigation, and NPI readiness. Work with product and fab teams to validate test infrastructure and deliver NVM test patterns from first silicon through production intent.

Experience Level

Entry-level; the posting prefers candidates with approximately 1–2 years of related semiconductor experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities involve NVM test development, product support, and NPI activities.

• Develop and execute NVM tests and analyze characterization data.
• Provide NVM support to product groups for yield improvement, test-time reduction, and failure investigation.
• Manage low-yield lot disposition and investigate fab excursions and transfers.
• Transfer and share NVM knowledge with product teams when moving to newer NVM technology nodes.
• Evaluate and validate test infrastructure for NPI to ensure readiness to schedule.
• Generate and deliver NVM patterns for new NPI products and resolve NVM test issues from first silicon to production intent.

Requirements

Must-have skills and preferred additions; degree information moved to Education Requirements.

• Practical understanding of NVM tests, code execution, and test characterization data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to work in cross-functional teams; effective communication at multiple levels.
• Familiarity with memory test techniques, microcontroller operation, or NVM is a plus.
• Tester and/or burn-in system knowledge is an advantage.
• Statistical analysis skills and knowledge of solid-state device fundamentals are preferred.

Education Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. The posting also prefers candidates with about 1–2 years' related experience in technology development, new product development, product engineering, or quality & reliability engineering in the semiconductor industry.
