NTI Process Integration Technician
Role Summary
Support the Process Integration (PI) team at Micron Fab 10N/X in Singapore by assisting engineers with daily production and R&D integration tasks, inline inspections, data analysis, and wafer logistics.
Primary objective is to enable stable process execution, maintain wafer flow and WIP visibility, and contribute to yield and quality improvements through operational support and coordination.
Experience Level
Entry-level. Role is suitable for candidates with a diploma or equivalent technical background; no specific years of experience required.
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Assist PI Engineers with daily line issue coordination, troubleshooting, disposition of deviations, and engineering job submissions.
- Perform inline inspections and coordinate non-routine inspections for R&D experiments.
- Support process flow setup activities for production and short-loop flows.
- Extract, analyze, and summarize experiment data (SWR, Conversion) and provide recommendations to engineers.
- Manage wafer shipment logistics between fabs for technology transfer and yield learning (swap lots, fab-to-fab offloads).
- Monitor and publish updates for priority and WIP lot movements.
- Monitor key inline/probe/final parametric indices and trigger first-level investigations for deviations.
- Use Micron systems (Micron Central, DataNav, SPACE, Klarity) to perform routine operational tasks.
- Contribute to projects that improve PI procedures, systems/tools, process capability, yield, and quality.
- Support team-level KPIs such as Global Conversion Process (GCP), SWR, and WIP status.
- Work in shift operations as required.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of SPC, SWR, QDR, Micron Central, and Klarity.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication process areas (Photo, Dry Etch, Diffusion, CVD, Wet Etch, Plating, Implant, PVD, CMP).
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build peer relationships.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and escalate issues appropriately.
Nice-to-have:
- Basic scripting/programming skills.
Education Requirements
Diploma or equivalent background; equivalent practical experience accepted.
