NPO Product Manager (HBM)
Role Summary
Drive operations planning and execution for early lifecycle phases of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) new product introductions. Act as the New Product Operations (NPO) liaison to product development teams to ensure manufacturing readiness and a predictable transition to high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
Experience Level
Mid-level β typically requires 5+ years in NPI, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations; semiconductor experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Own operations activities across early product lifecycle and ramp to HVM.
- Represent Operations on HBM Product Development Teams and in executive reporting forums.
- Participate early in PLM to address manufacturing operations and enterprise system requirements.
- Maintain ramp schedules and manage milestones to ensure smooth HVM transition.
- Oversee sample processes to meet specifications, customer expectations, and on-time delivery metrics.
- Ensure BOM compliance with DfSC and lead BOM Risk Reviews; assess sourcing strategies and operations risk.
- Secure unqualified/qualified silicon and capacity, enable enterprise systems, and remove supply-demand roadblocks.
- Provide regular status reporting to identify and mitigate operations-related risks and issues.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 5+ years in NPI / Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Operations with cross-functional leadership experience.
- Deep expertise in end-to-end semiconductor supply chain and PLM/NPI processes, including early lifecycle integration.
- Experience in BOM governance, enterprise master data, DfSC and BOM Risk Review processes.
- Proven program management and systems capability: managing schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
- Experience with SAP, Kinaxis, supply planning tools; familiarity with Tableau, SharePoint, HANA, Snowflake.
- Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder management and influencing skills; able to drive execution under ambiguity.
- Experience applying Generative and agentic AI tools to support day-to-day work.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. PMP certification preferred.
