NPI Hardware Systems Engineer – Semiconductor Sensor Products
Role Summary
Work within the SensArray division to transition semiconductor sensor products from engineering prototypes into high-volume manufacturing. The role bridges Design Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure products are manufacturable, reliable, and production-ready.

Responsibilities
Responsible for leading New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensuring successful product ramp into production.
- Lead NPI activities from prototype through production release.
- Plan and coordinate prototype, pilot, qualification, and production builds.
- Drive transfer of products from engineering development into manufacturing and support ramp-up.
- Develop and execute build plans, validation activities, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
- Support first-article builds, product qualifications, and production launches.
- Implement Design for Excellence (DFx) improvements for manufacturability, testability, reliability, serviceability, quality, and cost.
- Identify technical risks and drive mitigation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Suppliers) to resolve build and production issues.
- Support manufacturing test strategies, product validation, and documentation release (BOMs, work instructions, test procedures).
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to improve yield and production efficiency.

Education Requirements
Technical degree required in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a closely related field. Minimum qualifications specified: Doctorate (PhD) with 0 years related work experience; Master’s degree with 3 years related work experience; Bachelor’s degree with 5 years related work experience.
