Job Title

NPI Analyst

Role Summary

Join the Signal Integrity Products (SIP) engineering team to support redesign and ongoing execution of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. The role focuses on process maintenance, training, reporting, audit readiness, and cross-functional coordination to ensure consistent and compliant product introduction.

Experience Level

Mid-level. The posting seeks candidates with approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

Support and operate the NPI framework and related tooling, enable process compliance, and coordinate across functions.

  • Maintain NPI process documentation, procedures, templates, forms, and approval matrices as controlled documents.
  • Collect feedback, manage change-control for the NPI process, and communicate procedure updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and run training and onboarding for project leaders and core team members; maintain training records and leader handbooks.
  • Verify gate submission completeness, maintain project registers for non-gating actions, and support audit sampling and readiness activities.
  • Support process-related Corrective Action Requests (CARs) from intake through root-cause analysis and closure tracking.
  • Build and maintain reporting/BI to show program status, gate cycle times, documentation completeness, exceptions, and process health.
  • Define PLM/automation requirements, administer NPI templates and workflows, and assist migration to replacement platforms.
  • Act as day-to-day contact for NPI process questions and help coordinate pilot rollouts and in-flight program migration rules.

Requirements

Essential skills and experience required for effective performance in this role.

  • 3–5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with exposure to IC product development from concept to production preferred.
  • Practical experience with a phase-gate NPI or product development process.
  • Demonstrated office administration and project-management skills in an engineering environment.
  • Strong written communication; able to produce clear procedures, training material, and audit-facing records.
  • Ability to collect user requirements and support implementation of PLM workflows and reporting.
  • Nice to have: experience with PLM systems (Agile PLM), scripting or light automation for document/workflow, and familiarity with version control systems (SVN, Git).

Education Requirements

Combination of education and experience is acceptable; no specific degree or field is mandated. The posting allows equivalent practical experience in lieu of formal credentials and expects familiarity with engineering project-management practices.
