Experience Level

Entry-level (New college graduate). Typical candidate: 0–1 years relevant industry or internship experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to circuit and full‑chip design, simulation, validation, and cross‑discipline collaboration.

  • Assist with gate‑level to full‑chip design, layout, and performance optimization of memory circuits.
  • Run and debug circuit simulations using SPICE, Verilog, and similar tools; analyze results.
  • Design schematic blocks including memory arrays, control logic, address decode, datapaths, and internal test logic.
  • Evaluate architectural tradeoffs and impacts on power, performance, area, and reliability.
  • Import and analyze layout parasitics in circuit simulation environments and optimize design rules.
  • Support test‑chip definition, silicon validation strategies, and lab correlation.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing to ensure manufacturability.
  • Identify opportunities for innovative circuit or architecture improvements.

Requirements

Core technical skills and desirable background for immediate contribution.

  • Must-have: Basic understanding of memory applications and CMOS device behavior.
  • Must-have: Strong foundation in circuit simulation setup, analysis, and debug (SPICE/Verilog familiarity expected).
  • Must-have: Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with memory circuit design and layout optimization.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with reliability limits of CMOS processes and exposure to silicon validation and test‑chip bring‑up.
  • Nice-to-have: Demonstrated motivation to grow technically and to work within collaborative, global teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher (Master's or PhD also acceptable) as stated in the minimum qualifications.
