New College Grad - Product Test Engineer
Role Summary
The Product Test Engineer develops, debugs, and maintains test programs and flows to qualify and deliver DRAM products from new product introduction through high-volume manufacturing. The role supports either memory-cell quality testing or high-speed interface and system-level testing, including automation and AI-assisted workflows.
Experience Level
Entry-level — new college graduate (suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of experience).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on test program development, data-driven test coverage decisions, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable test solutions.
- Develop, debug, and support test programs from NPI through high-volume manufacturing.
- Write test programs and support scripts in C++ and Python.
- Analyze device and test-flow data to inform test coverage and yield decisions.
- Balance test time objectives while maintaining yield and quality.
- Contribute to design-for-test capabilities and test solution definition.
- Collaborate with Design and Product Engineering, Fab, Manufacturing, Yield Enhancement, Global Quality, Systems Integration, and Equipment Engineering teams.
Requirements
Clear separation of required and preferred skills.
Must-have:
- Basic R/L/C circuit knowledge.
- Digital systems fundamentals and logic gate representation.
- Understanding of CMOS transistor operation.
- Basic statistics and data analytics.
Nice-to-have:
- Intermediate to advanced programming in C++ or Python.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with AI coding assistance and AI workflow automation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline — or equivalent practical experience.
