New College Grad - Legacy DRAM Product Yield Enhancement Engineer
Role Summary
Entry-level engineer on the Product Yield Enhancement (PYE) Failure Analysis team supporting legacy DRAM products through their manufacturing lifecycle at Fab 6. The role focuses on identifying and resolving component and process failures to improve yield, reliability, and test flow stability.
You will perform electrical and physical characterization, use statistical analysis and AI-supported workflows, and coordinate corrective actions with Product, Process, Quality, and Test Engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include failure analysis, data-driven root-cause identification, and cross-functional coordination to improve product yield and quality.
- Perform electrical failure analysis to determine failure mechanisms.
- Analyze manufacturing and test data to identify causes of component failures and yield loss.
- Use data visualization, statistical methods, and AI tools to identify trends and accelerate investigations.
- Coordinate corrective actions with Product, Process, Quality, and Test teams to resolve fabrication, assembly, and test marginalities.
- Document findings and present technical reports to stakeholders.

- Hands-on ability to perform electrical and physical characterization and failure analysis.
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis and data visualization to detect trends and support root-cause work.

- Basic programming skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to write reports and present technical findings.
- Effective collaborator who can work with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Problem-solving mindset and self-motivation to learn new technical areas.
Education Requirements
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science. Desirable coursework: VLSI, device physics, semiconductor process, programming, and statistics. A solid academic record is expected.
