New College Grad - HBM Analog Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level verification engineer focused on pre-silicon analog and mixed-signal verification for HBM and emerging memory products. Work with design and verification teams to simulate, analyze, and debug full-chip designs and to develop verification methodologies and test plans.

Experience Level

Entry-level — new college graduate. Candidates should have recently completed a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program (see Education Requirements).

Responsibilities

The role supports verification of analog/mixed-signal memory circuits and contributes to test development and coverage improvement.

• Simulate, analyze, and debug pre-silicon full-chip and circuit designs for HBM and emerging memory architectures.
• Develop and maintain test benches and test cases to increase verification coverage.
• Participate in creation of verification methodologies, test plans, and coverage goals.
• Collaborate with circuit designers, digital verification engineers, and system architects to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Document verification results, debug steps, and improvement opportunities.
• Not responsible for sales, contract negotiation, pricing, or contract execution decisions.

Requirements

Core technical skills and attributes required or strongly preferred for successful contribution.

• Must-have: Strong understanding of electronic circuit concepts and experience with electronic circuit simulation/design tools (analog simulation/SPICE preferred).
• Must-have: Conversational English communication skills and effective interpersonal/problem-solving abilities.
• Must-have: Self-motivated team player with interest in semiconductor verification and debugging.
• Nice-to-have: Participation in internships or academic projects related to pre-silicon circuit design or verification.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with pre-silicon areas such as logic circuit design, computer architecture, AMS verification, digital verification, and logic simulation basics.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with programming, scripting, or hardware description languages (e.g., C++, Python, Verilog).

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Nanotechnology, or a closely related technical field. Candidates must have graduated within the last two years from their degree program.
