New College Grad - HBM Analog Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level verification engineer focused on pre-silicon analog and mixed-signal verification for HBM and emerging memory architectures. The role is based in Jalisco, Mexico and contributes to verification methodology, testbench development, simulation, analysis and debug of full-chip designs.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include building and executing verification assets and supporting design teams to validate analog/mixed-signal memory blocks.

  • Simulate, analyze and debug pre-silicon full-chip designs and analog circuits.
  • Develop and maintain testbenches and test cases to increase coverage for HBM and emerging memory features.
  • Participate in development of verification methodologies and test plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Adopt AI-enabled tools and AI-driven approaches to improve engineering productivity.

Requirements

Must-have technical and professional attributes; preferred items listed separately.

  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuit concepts.
  • Experience using electronic circuit simulation and design tools (e.g., SPICE simulators).
  • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills; team-oriented.
  • Conversational English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn semiconductor verification techniques.

Nice-to-have:

  • Internship or academic project experience in pre-silicon circuit design or verification.
  • Knowledge of logic circuit design, computer architecture, mixed-signal verification (AMS) and digital verification basics.
  • Experience with programming/scripting or HDLs such as C++, Python, Verilog.
  • Organized, goal-focused approach and debugging skills for logic verification.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Nanotechnology or a similar technical field. Candidates must have graduated within the last two years from a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD program. Equivalent practical experience is not stated.
