New College Grad - Engineer, Product Architecture

Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role in product architecture focused on defining and optimizing DRAM-based memory solutions for computing systems. The position works with customers, ecosystem partners, and internal engineering teams to develop product requirements, technical documentation, and support design-in and deployment activities.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” new college graduate. Suitable for candidates with minimal industry experience (approximately 0–3 years).

Responsibilities

Develop and communicate technical requirements and solutions for memory products; collaborate with customers and internal teams to support technology adoption and product planning.

  • Develop cross-disciplinary understanding of DRAM technologies, system architectures, signaling, power, performance, reliability, and cost tradeoffs to define optimized memory solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers, system architects, and ecosystem partners to identify requirements, evaluate trends, analyze competitive solutions, and support design-in activities.
  • Create product concepts, technical requirements, specifications, whitepapers, training materials, and user documentation for new memory technologies and IP.
  • Represent the company in industry standards organizations, technical conferences, and consortia; build relationships with customers and technology partners.
  • Use AI-assisted analysis and engineering tools to support technology evaluation, market insights, product planning, and technical decision-making.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and competencies, followed by concise nice-to-have items.

  • Familiarity with memory architecture, DRAM technologies, and system-level hardware design concepts.
  • Experience evaluating hardware/software interactions, system requirements, and performance tradeoffs in complex computing environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, multi-functional engineering environments.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with datacenter, high-performance computing, or AI system architectures.
  • Knowledge of memory interfaces, protocols, PHY design, signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and system interconnect technologies.
  • Experience participating in industry standards groups, customer-facing engineering activities, or technical consortia.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools or data-driven engineering methods to improve analysis and productivity.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
