New College Graduate - Device Process Integration Engineer (CMOS)

Role Summary

The Process Integration engineer will support ramping next-generation DRAM technologies from development into high-volume manufacturing. The role focuses on process integration, yield improvement, electrical data analysis, and cross-functional problem solving to deliver production-grade DRAM products.

Experience Level

Entry-level - new college graduate; suitable for recent graduates (M.S. level) or candidates with minimal professional experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supporting process integration and yield ramp activities in a production fab and communicating results to stakeholders.

  • Ramp next-generation DRAM into production and improve production yield.
  • Analyze electrical and inline data to identify yield detractors and process anomalies.
  • Optimize process integration flows and device structures to improve yield and product performance.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure c-spec and structure integrity meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with Device, Yield Engineering, Process, QA, PE and other cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage AI and software tools to increase problem-solving efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare and present technical results to internal audiences and stakeholders.

Requirements

Core technical skills and behaviors required for the role.

Must-have:

  • Understanding of semiconductor process flow and common unit processes (CMP, film deposition, etch, photolithography).
  • Familiarity with mainstream memory technologies (DRAM, NAND, NOR).
  • Ability to perform statistical and electrical data analysis.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and self-motivation.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of advanced DRAM technologies and advanced CMOS process integration.
  • Experience with programming, AI techniques, or engineering software tools.

Education Requirements

M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
