Role Summary
Entry-level design engineer on the DRAM Technology and Products team responsible for circuit design, analysis, and silicon validation for memory products. The role partners with design, verification, product engineering, test, process integration and other cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturable, high-quality memory circuits.

Entry-level / New college graduate position.
Responsibilities
Contribute to design and validation activities for memory circuits and related semiconductor blocks.
- Design, layout, simulate, and optimize digital and analog memory circuits to meet performance, power, area, and reliability targets.
- Develop and support schematic blocks including memory arrays, control logic, address decoding, datapath circuitry, and internal test logic.
- Perform circuit verification, parasitic extraction analysis, design rule optimization, and debug to improve functionality and yield.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test-chip strategies, support silicon validation, and resolve product development issues.
- Apply tools and automation techniques, including AI-enabled methods, to improve design efficiency and analysis workflows.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and competencies.
- Basic understanding of memory array architectures, memory circuits, and semiconductor device operation.
- Experience with circuit simulation, setup, debugging, and analysis using industry-standard simulation tools.
- Ability to interpret device specifications and translate requirements into functional circuit designs.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical concepts to peers and management.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience designing semiconductor circuits, memory products, or related integrated circuit technologies.
- Knowledge of circuit layout, parasitic extraction, and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) methodologies.
- Familiarity with SPICE, Verilog, or comparable circuit design and verification tools.
- Understanding of how architectural decisions affect power, speed, area, and product performance.
- Experience using AI-enabled solutions, data-driven approaches, or automation to improve engineering productivity.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required; a higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is acceptable.
