Experience Level

Entry-level β€” new college graduate.

Responsibilities

Key duties focus on circuit design, verification, and silicon validation for memory products.

  • Design, layout, simulate, and optimize memory circuits to meet power, performance, area, and reliability targets.
  • Develop and support schematic blocks (memory arrays, control logic, address decoding, datapath, internal test logic) using industry-standard tools.
  • Perform circuit verification, parasitic extraction analysis, design-rule optimization, and debug to improve functionality and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test-chip strategies and support silicon validation and yield improvement.
  • Use AI-enabled tools and automation to improve design efficiency and analysis workflows.

Requirements

Core qualifications and desirable skills.

Must-have:

  • Basic understanding of memory array architectures, memory circuits, and semiconductor device operation.
  • Experience with circuit simulation, setup, debugging, and analysis using industry-standard simulation tools.
  • Ability to interpret device specifications and translate requirements into functional circuit designs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical presentations and documentation.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience designing semiconductor circuits or memory products.
  • Knowledge of circuit layout, parasitic extraction, and design-for-manufacturability methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SPICE, Verilog, or comparable design and verification tools.
  • Understanding of trade-offs among power, speed, area, and overall product performance; experience applying AI-enabled or data-driven automation is a plus.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
