Network RDMA Algorithms Architect

Role Summary

Design and evaluate RDMA algorithms and end-to-end networking solutions for high-performance data center adapters (ConnectX, SPC-X). Work on algorithm specification, simulation, and validation on real hardware within a cross-functional research and engineering team.

Experience Level

Entry-level β€” typically 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include research, design, simulation, and validation of RDMA and networking algorithms.

  • Research and analyze end-to-end networking and RDMA solutions.
  • Design RDMA load-balancing and congestion-control algorithms.
  • Develop and run simulation environments to evaluate algorithms.
  • Validate algorithms on real hardware and prototype systems.
  • Collaborate with research teams to develop proofs-of-concept using company technology.
  • Document designs, experiments, and results; present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

Required skills and qualifications, followed by recommended (nice-to-have) experience.

  • Must-have: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; strong problem-solving skills; high motivation and attention to detail; excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with compute and networking system concepts is expected.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with system architecture across CPU/GPU/memory/storage/networking.
  • Nice-to-have: Background with AI workloads or networking research.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience developing simulation environments or working with prototype hardware.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
