MTS Silicon Design Engineer - DFT/ATPG
Role Summary
Work on front-end silicon design and integration within the Radeon Technologies Group to implement and verify DFT and ATPG features. Collaborate with architecture, IP, physical design, and product teams to support first-pass silicon success.
The role focuses on pre-silicon DFT implementation and verification, ATPG pattern generation and validation, and post-silicon test support and yield learning.

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include DFT implementation, ATPG pattern development and verification, and post-silicon support.
- Implement and verify DFT architecture and features.
- Perform scan insertion and ATPG pattern generation.
- Verify ATPG patterns using gate-level simulation.
- Analyze test coverage and recommend test cost reduction measures.
- Provide post-silicon support for bring-up and yield learning.
Requirements

- Must-have: Practical experience with DFT methodologies (scan, JTAG/IEEE 1149.x) and ATPG pattern generation/verification.
- Must-have: Hands-on experience with gate-level simulation workflows and familiarity with Verilog RTL.
- Must-have: Scripting experience for automation (Perl, Shell).
- Preferred: Experience with Mentor Tessent/TestKompress and/or Synopsys Tetramax/DFTMAX.
- Preferred: Knowledge of IEEE1500, memory BIST, and other DFT structures.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
