Member of Technical Staff - IP Engineering (MTS)
Role Summary
Join the IP Engineering team in Eindhoven to lead development and delivery of high-performance compute and processor IP products. The role combines technical leadership, hands-on RTL and verification work, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship.
Experience Level
Senior - requires at least 8 years of experience in digital IC or IP development.
Responsibilities
Accountable for end-to-end technical delivery and improving engineering practices across teams.
- Lead complex processor and compute IP projects from concept through implementation, verification, signoff, and product delivery.
- Provide architecture analysis, microarchitecture development, RTL design and implementation, and verification expertise.
- Develop and review technical specifications, verification strategies, project plans, and quality documentation.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams on product roadmaps, technical engagements, and methodology improvements.
- Drive engineering quality, execution predictability, automation, and risk management.
- Contribute hands-on to problem solving and mentor engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Perform work in accordance with Environmental, Health, Safety and Security requirements.
Requirements

- Must-have: Minimum 8 years of experience in digital IC or IP development (digital front-end, RTL implementation, verification, validation, or computational IP).
- Must-have: Strong understanding of processor, memory, and system architectures.
- Must-have: Hands-on experience in microarchitecture development, RTL design/implementation, simulation-based verification, formal verification, functional coverage, or signoff.
- Must-have: Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog, UVM/OVM methodologies, and common EDA tools/flows.
- Must-have: Programming or scripting experience (Python, C/C++, Perl, Shell, Assembly, or similar).
- Must-have: Demonstrated technical leadership, ability to assess priorities/risks/trade-offs, and drive signoff readiness.
- Must-have: Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
- Nice-to-have: Experience leading initiatives across multiple disciplines or locations and supporting customer-facing technical engagements.
- Nice-to-have: Experience improving verification flows, automation, and quality processes; proven mentoring experience.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is required. A PhD or advanced specialization in these fields is preferred.
