Job Title
MTS - Analog Design
Role Summary
Design, implement and integrate complex analog circuits and supporting custom digital blocks for advanced DRAM products. Work with layout, verification, modeling, and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and optimize power, performance, and area.
Experience Level
Mid-level. Years of experience not specified.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design and integration of CMOS analog circuits (amplifiers, comparators, bandgap references, LDOs, charge pumps, oscillators, DLLs, IO buffers, analog test muxes, process monitors, temperature sensors) for DRAM products.
- Design and integration of synchronous and asynchronous custom digital blocks.
- Parasitic modeling, design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
- Oversee layout activities including floor-planning, placement, and routing.
- Perform verification with industry-standard modeling and simulation tools.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability.
- Mentor and lead junior designers; contribute to cross-group standardization efforts.
Requirements
Key skills and experience expected (must-have listed first):
- Proven analog IC design experience for advanced products (listed circuit types above) — must-have.
- Experience with custom digital block design and integration — must-have.
- Hands-on experience with parasitic extraction, modeling, and verification using industry simulators — must-have.
- Practical knowledge of layout flow, floor-planning, placement, and routing — must-have.
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration with test, process, and product teams — must-have.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers — must-have.
- Strong proficiency with AI tools and agentic AI models (e.g., effective use of tools like Claude) to improve engineering efficiency and PPA optimization — preferred / nice-to-have.
Education Requirements
