Job Title
MSIP (Analog/Mixed-Signal IP) Program Manager
Role Summary
Partner with Qualcomm’s analog/mixed-signal IP (MSIP) teams to plan and deliver a portfolio of analog and mixed-signal IP—including ADC/DAC, PLL, LDO, sensors, SerDes, and DDR—through the full lifecycle from concept to production on advanced process nodes.
The role owns end-to-end program execution, coordinates across architecture, implementation, verification, integration, and release teams, and aligns MSIP activities with SoC programs and business-unit roadmaps.
Experience Level
Mid-level — Minimum 4+ years of program management or related experience; 5+ years preferred for stronger candidacy.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning, tracking, and communicating program status and ensuring delivery of IP on schedule and quality targets.
- Own end-to-end program execution for a portfolio of analog/mixed-signal IP from concept through production on advanced nodes.
- Collaborate with technical leads to define IP portfolio roadmaps, prioritize work, and optimize resource allocation.
- Build and maintain integrated schedules, milestones, and dependency plans across architecture, implementation, verification, integration, and release.
- Drive alignment on scope, deliverables, and priorities across MSIP teams, SoC programs, and business units.
- Track program health (status, risks, issues, actions); surface gaps early and drive mitigation with clear owners and dates.
- Create concise stakeholder communications and executive-ready readouts with metrics/KPIs and insights.
- Capture lessons learned and improve playbooks, checklists, and reporting processes.
- Maintain complete, current, and audit-ready program artifacts and documentation.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience required to perform the role.
- 4+ years of program management or related work experience, with demonstrated ownership of cross-functional technical programs.
- Experience managing schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource conflicts across distributed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to prepare executive-level summaries and metrics.
- Risk identification and mitigation experience; structured problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with program management/reporting tools and dashboards, and comfortable using data to drive decisions.
- Ability to work in a large, matrixed organization and coordinate across multiple business units.
Nice-to-have:
- Prior experience in semiconductor or hardware development programs.
- Experience with dashboards and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Splunk, ThoughtSpot) and Gantt-style scheduling.
- Continuous-improvement mindset with a track record of improving predictability, quality, or speed.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is listed as a minimum requirement; a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is preferred. PMP (or equivalent) certification is listed as a preferred credential.
