Module Engineer — Test Engineering Department

Role Summary

Own and operate high-volume manufacturing equipment and module components that support mass production of integrated circuits. Perform tests and measurements, execute maintenance and repairs, and drive equipment/process improvements to meet safety, quality, cost, productivity, defect and yield targets.

Support technology demonstrations and transfers across global manufacturing sites, participate in equipment installation and qualification during factory ramps, and work with suppliers to resolve technical issues.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include sustaining and optimizing equipment and processes to enable high-volume manufacturing and matched processing across sites.

• Operate, monitor and test manufacturing equipment; perform measurements to control critical dimensions and defectivity.
• Execute maintenance, repairs and equipment qualification; lead equipment install/conversion during factory ramps.
• Recommend and implement equipment/process modifications to improve production efficiency, quality and yield.
• Develop and optimize excursion-prevention and detection systems for equipment and processes.
• Support technology transfer through training, installation audits and qualification verification at other sites.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet manufacturing readiness milestones.
• Work required 12-hour rotational shifts (4 days per week) as needed to meet business demands.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, work habits and language ability. Preferred skills listed separately.

• Knowledge of schematic and electronic circuitry interpretation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective spoken and written English communication.
• Ability to work in a team, manage multiple assignments and meet timelines; attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Willingness to work onsite and on a 12-hour rotational shift pattern (4 days per week) as required.
• Nice-to-have: experience with data analysis tools or programming (SQL, Python, R), training/proficiency on industry-standard ATE and handler equipment (Teradyne Flex, Advantest V93K, HonPrec handlers), and ability to develop/test programs.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automation Control or other relevant technical or engineering discipline.
